Livvy Wilson

Livvy Wilson

Livvy recently graduated from AUT with a Bachelor in Health Science majoring in Physiotherapy. She is looking forward to further pursuing her passion as a sports Physio, with plans to complete her dry needling course and continue to learn about running gait.

Many of you will recognise Liv from her time spent in the lab as a student. In the last few years Livvy has been in and out of the lab and provided postrace massage at several events with the team. Livvy has also been a coach for GetRunning where she has helped many of the runners with their long runs. On top of all of this Livvy has previously lent her knowledge junior athletics with her club.

Professional Views and Specialist interests.

Like many of our team, Livvy is a big fan of teaching you to manage your own body so that you’re able to deal with things as they arise. Equipped with this information you’ll be unstoppable, we know you will. Livvy is passionate about helping you to achieve your goals and gets just as much of a kick out of helping with the small goals as she does the big life changing goals. The combination of her hands on skills with this passion for teaching has a hugely positive effect on clients here at the lab.

Outside the lab

Livvy is an exceptionally talented and dedicated athlete. Previously a 100m/200m specialist, Liv has recently made the brave step to a full lap (400m) in order to target the NZ 4x400m women’s team going to this year’s Rio Olympics. Following this she is targeting individual selection for the 2018 Commonwealth games and the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

You would find it hard to believe that Livvy has any spare time but in her leisure time Livvy also enjoys cooking and baking, Café hopping with friends, walking on the beach, boating and anything active.
