      <image:caption>Vaughan graduated from AUT in 2001 with a Bachelor of Health Science Physiotherapy, where he won the Academic Prize for Clinical Excellence. Vaughan has worked in various roles. This includes helping to implement the primary health initiative of taking Physiotherapy into Auckland Secondary Schools. Vaughan has a special interest in running biomechanics and running injuries, but has worked with many various sports including: &gt; Auckland Rugby NPC Team &gt; Auckland U/20 rugby team &gt; Senior Club Rugby and 1st 15 Secondary Schools Rugby &gt; Schools Elite Rowing, Tennis, Cricket, Football, Track and field, Touch rugby &gt; Auckland U/15 Touch Rugby &gt; Various athletics and cross country teams &gt; Elite rowers Vaughan enjoys working with athletes of all levels, from beginner to elite. He also enjoys working with non-sporting injuries such as complex postural dysfunctions, or biomechanical issues that affect activities of daily living. Vaughan believes good communication with the client is integral to managing the client’s injury in a way that best suits their lifestyle. He believes education provides a cornerstone to developing a management plan. Vaughan approaches any injury by assessing the client’s posture, movement patterns and more specific local injury site tests, as a whole picture to identify the main cause of the complaint. He places a strong emphasis on manual therapy, muscle balance, dry needling acupuncture, exercise prescription and education to facilitate the injury recovery process. Outside of the Lab, Vaughan is a former competitive runner who specialised in Cross-Country and Track and Field, where he represented NZ three times. His most notable achievements were representing NZ at the World Junior Track and Field Championships and Captaining the NZ under 23 Cross Country team. Vaughan is now a coach to a group of track and field athletes who compete at elite level.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Project Management + Cycling Specialist Jack graduated his Mechanical Engineering degree with honours from the University of Canterbury in 2015.  Since then he has spent several years in the industry as a Process Development Engineer. Jack has worked a multitude of jobs over the last few years with internships in manufacturing at Pearson Cycles and Aerodynamics at Jaguar Land Rover. He then went on to work at Fisher and Paykel Healthcare as a Process Development Engineer until he turned pro as a triathlete in mid 2018. Since Turning professional as a triathlete his priorities have shifted and he now works part time in retail at a local bike store as well as one of our bike fitting specialists at Sports Lab. Jack is a cycling nerd. A numbers guy that likes to get things done. Jack is a firm believer in creating structure to deliver on ambitious projects. He brings his engineering skillset in process development to further enhance the business infrastructure within Sports Lab and help it reach its true potential in being a world class healthcare provider.  Outside of the Lab, Jack is a professional triathlete. Jack competes internationally across middle distance triathlons. If he is not in the Lab then it’s a safe bet that he is either splashing around in Millennium’s pool, grinding away on the stationary bike in his garage or pounding the pavements around Cornwall Park. Outside of triathlon Jack loves Skiing, Mountain biking and was an international DJ once upon a time.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Receptionist Born and bred in Christchurch, Rosie is a 2x World Champs representative in the 400m and holds the national record in the 200m. She rediscovered her love for sprinting during her studies in Dunedin, where she completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Anatomy.  Following a short stint in her hometown working in a medical lab, she’s made the move to Auckland to train alongside some of New Zealand’s top sprinters, including our own Livvy Wilson.  Besides running fast and ensuring things are going smoothly at the Lab, her favourite hobby is seeking new hobbies. Her most recent obsessions are gardening and sewing, and you’ll most likely find her in the backyard obsessing over soil quality.</image:caption>
